Online registration is through the NRA website:

This is a one day course taught from the official NRA materials, and includes all aspects of training required to become an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. It incorporates the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to properly perform these duties.

Cost of the course is $125.00 for guests, with a $20 discount for NHRPC club members. There are some other small fees payable directly to the NRA for the certification paperwork.

NRA and non-NRA members are both welcome to attend.

If you've ever had a negative experience at a range with someone who didn't know how to properly handle an issue (and we all have), this course will give you the opportunity to become part of the solution. If you want to contribute to a safer and more professional shooting environment at your local club, this course is a great idea.

It is a great course to start out with if you are seeking to accrue some official certifications. Once you register at the NRA site, I will contact you to lock your spot in.

It is low pressure, a lot of fun, and we have a 100% pass rate on the certification exam.

Thanks, and we are looking forward to getting you certified. What else are you going to do all Winter - Hibernate???
