Default "The Road" Excursions

Considering the popularity of the Burma Road shooting area...figured we could have an on-going thread for folks to post when they plan on going up, maybe get some meets and greets going.

A couple of us are heading up on Saturday April 19th, should be there in the morning for at least few hours.

Hope to see some of you.

Ok I have never been to the range at Burma road so I decided to take a run up after the rains today to see if I could find the place. Well just like I figured I had no clue where I was going I found Burma road no problem but was unable to find the range. Even if I did find it I wouldn't have had any clue where to park it doesn't look like there is any parking on the sides of the road. I was hoping to shoot some more rounds through my LCP. O well maybe next time.

I sure hope not. Over the past few years though land clearing has been climbing up the mountain. If the Burma closes I'll have to find a new place to shoot for free. I'm sure they exist, but I doubt any are as easy to get to.

I was up there with a friend early Sunday morning. Somebody ended up with a whole lot of our nice brass I'm sure

It was slow, which was nice. Met two nice people during the time we were there.

I tend to leave my brass for old Joe if he is around, otherwise it gets to sit in my basement for the next decade.
