Reputable Coin/Silver Dealer near Pottsville
Can anyone recommend an honest coin dealer or other place where my mom can cash in some silver coins and sterling flatware? There are a handful of individual old coins in nice condition, but mostly old silver quarters, dimes, and half dollars. She lives in Saint Clair and I don't want her to have to drive too far.

Flabbydan, She could try any of the jewelers in the Fairlane Village Mall. There is also a place up in the Schuykill Mall in Frackville called Black Diamond antiques and Blum's Auction. There are two pawn shops in Pottsville, but I have never dealt with them.

If she does not mind the leg work. Have her shop around for the best price. Some of the local shops will take what they buy at a discount and re-sell it for a profit to another shop. Can't think of the name of that shop right now. If I remember it I will post..

There is a place in Hamburg on the corner of 4th and State. Muellers I think is the name. Took a bunch of gold and silver there. Very honest and easy to deal with.
