ANOTHER AK-47 Thread !!

I know what I want for my next military rifle, but I'm not sure what model to get.

I want a Lancaster Consulting AK-47 with the black synthetic furniture.

$539 for the 1mm stamped.

$639 for 1.6mm stamped. (comes with bayonet).

Is the 1.6mm worth the extra money, or will the average joe never tell the difference??

BTW - money is not a deciding factor. If the 1.6mm is a better rifle...I will buy it.

The 1.6mm reciever will be stiffer. You may get a little btter accuracy out of it.. The average Joe will not notice or see a difference.

You'll notice the extra weight.

Stamped rifles are significantly lighter. The 1.6 receiver was used for the RPK IIRC. It's overkill for a semi-auto AK.
