Early issue M4 buttstock (rounded end), Aimpoint M68 CCO, AN/PEQ-2 IR/VIS laser marking device, and what looks like a Surefire Scout with pressure pad mounted. Also looks like he's running with HK mags.

can't really tell from here, but it looks like he may have a M203 40mm grenade launcher underslung as well, telling from the 40mm pouches on his vest.

From the generations of gear I would say this was taken 2003-2005/6ish?

Ah, ok. I thought these were "real" pictures....should have read it more closely. The "hardware" they're using is about 5 years old or so... A lot of things that "this" kind of unit would have had a few years ago are now commonplace issue weaponry.

It all depends on what filmakers can get their hands on. In your last picture...the film probably calls for a "M249 SAW" but doesn't mention that most of these "high speed" units were using adjustable buttstocks, short barrels, and sometimes smaller magazine drums ("nutsacks").

then again, I read on IMDB (the definitive source for everything) that these guys were "Special Ops Reservists" which.........ok..........but perhaps their somewhat dated gear (or low operational budget) is due to the fact that they're "reservists"
