I understand that sometimes lemons come off of an assembly line due to tolerances and how things mate up, but 2 random rifles off the line that keep having problems, I wouldn't be happy. I could sell you garbage for 2K, let you call me every once in a while because it was messing up, then send you more garbage for free that might or might not make you happy, and it would be good service. I just hope that they're not trying to mess him around and he gets one that doesn't malfunction this way.
Over at Steyrclub.com, there were some threads while back about a dude who was saying something like only the Austrian knows how to make AUG. He pointed out some of the problems that Aussie built AUG has and so forth.......I don't know, I am counting penny here but this is not so encouraging news for a 2K rifle. I would wait till they work out the bugs first....he he heh

Yep, The 3rd arrived today with a very clear detail of what they did to repaire the gun. There are also some mag issues with the 30 and 42 rd mags, which by the way they are replacing your mags for free as expected. I am going out again for a test run so lets cross our fingers

Ok it ran great not a single problem. Ran 2-20rds and 2-30rds. They sent a letter about the mags. they are recalling all 30 and 42 rd mags. I even ran some wolf and no problems..

I got one two weeks ago, put about 300 rounds through it, works great. Shot black hills, federal, british military surplus SS109 and some PMC. I was getting about 1 MOA groups, but not really trying to check accuracy.

Got the black stock with picatinny rail, and of course added an ACOG 3.5.

Love it, especially since it fits perfectly on the top shelf of my safe, thus keeping space open for another rifle on the rack.

just ordered 4 42 round mags today, pick em up Friday at my dealer.

Just an FYI several parts of this gun are made right here in PA.

Buy more and help support my job.
