After consulting with MSAR about my rifles problems, They have shipped me a new rifle, overnight ups. They have been 110% to deal with and I even got a call from the President of the company Who is truly upset about the whole situation. They have handled this in a manner That I have not seen in a long time. They are commited to customer satisfaction at no cost. I will be taking the new rifle out friday for a test run.

Isn't this rifle a knock off of the Steyr-AUG? Or, built under license from Steyr?

It Is a copy of the AUG but, It has some newer upgrades like a forward assist. It also has a propiretary mag unlike the AUG'S and TXR bullpup. It is not made under contract with STEYR.

2nd rifle shot 2 mags without a problem, but after that things went downhill. I called the President of the company who gave me his personal cell phone # and he is going to look at both rifles and when they ship my next rifle it will be tested with 100 rds before it ships. It seems some rifles are having a problem , but a majority are functioning fine.

That is what you call SERVICE! The president of the company is addressing your issue personally? That is truely impressive. Once they get the bugs worked out let us know man, I want to see/read about what this thing can do. Post some pics and good luck!

I agree that it is great service, which is awesome. I think it REALLY sucks that he is having this kind of problem with 2 totally random rifles off of the assembly line and they cost $2k apiece. I just think that if you spend that much on a rifle it should function properly almost every time. I understand that sometimes lemons come off of an assembly line due to tolerances and how things mate up, but 2 random rifles off the line that keep having problems, I wouldn't be happy. I could sell you garbage for 2K, let you call me every once in a while because it was messing up, then send you more garbage for free that might or might not make you happy, and it would be good service. I just hope that they're not trying to mess him around and he gets one that doesn't malfunction this way.
