AR trigger

Has anyone had any experiences with drop in trigger assemblies like Timney or Chip McCormick, are they any good

Don't have any experience with their AR triggers, but their other triggers are very good so I would expect that the AR's work would be good too. I happen to like the Rock River Arms 2 stage National Match trigger but in the future I might try one if (when) I build another AR (probably a varmit type set up).

I have no experience with Timney or Chip McCormick, but I'm a big fan of Rock River Arms' National Match triggers.

A RRA NM trigger will probably be considerably less expensive than a Timney or McCormick.

The CMC triggers had some issues...and some have reported double taps with the RRA. If you get the RRA trigger, I'd have one tuned by WOA.

The Geiselle trigger is probably the best trigger out on the market. Jewell triggers and pretty impressive as well.

I have a friend who bought a timney and it started to double after only about 200 rds.

I just bought a KAC 2-Stage NM trigger but I haven't put it in yet. I've heard good things about the WhiteOak accurized RRA 2-stage triggers and they're a lot cheaper...

It depends on what you expect. You can get a standard AR trigger into the 4.5-5lb range pretty easily with spring tweaking.

Single stage or two stage? Makes a big difference .......and service rifle triggers are going to be set at 4.5lbs.

If you want the lightest possible pull, the JP full kit and the Jewell (or the Geiselle.....if you can afford it) are the best of single stage and two stage triggers.
