Era Correct Scope for Mossberg 146b 22-s-lr

I just picked up a very nice old Mossberg 146b-22-s-lr rifle. I would like to put a scope on it that would be correct to the era that the rifle was produced.
The gun is in very nice original condition. I want to utilize the receiver grooves to mount the scope so any info on the correct type mount for the scope will be helpful also.
