PSL: Talk me into, or out of it!

My LGS does have a PSL that they insist on calling a Dragunov. It's fairly beat up and they want over 900 bones for it! I already overpaid them for my Mosin, they ain't getting me again.

Classic Arms has the PSL for $620, and J&G Sales has them for $600, both of which are only a bit more than AIM. I'm hoping to get one myself in a couple of months.

When AIM ran out the first time, I started looking for alternatives. Their low price spawned the idea to get one. But after I decided to get one, I was getting one - regardless.

Luckily they took a back order, and voila.

However, in my scouring the internets for more. I bumped into a tidbit that J&G's are built from parts. Where as AIM's were imported directly through Century. Someone called J&G and they asked, and that's what was posted. I think it was on AR15 . com or AK files. But I simply cannot find it now.

I would ASK. The ones coming in from AIM were in stellar shape. Making it a deal far too good to pass up.

Good to know, I might stick with AIM then when I'm ready to order.

AIM is back in stock for the PSL-54c! Anyone know a good FFL around the Scranton area? I'd love to pick one of these up myself.

That is great news for people!

My recommendation is that if you are going to get a PSL. GET IT NOW. These are in amazing condition and at a great price.

They will not last.

I'm definitely sold on one, I just can't decide whether I want one from J&G or AIM. It seems like J&G's comes with more peripherals and the eye guard on the scope.
