Aubie, do you have any pictures of how the barrel looks now that it is threaded? I am interested to see how it looks threaded with the heavy barrel.

To be honest, "they" all look the same. The Outback II is still a little thicker than the heavy barrel, but it's not a huge noticable difference. I don't have any pictures of the 880, but I could take some. I am going to refinish the rifle...just not sure if I want to use a thermal cure or just some spray paint.

I was actually more curious how the barrel looks without the suppressor on it than even with it on. I imagine it's quite a step down from the barrel width to the threaded width.

I have a thread protector when the suppressor is not on the barrel. The thread protector is nice because it's designed to be used with an adjustable wrench.
