Default Who else on here liked their marlin 25 22lr

Just wondering. I used to have one a about 5yrs ago and then gave it to my brother. That little gun sure could shoot. I've shot many squirrels with it and many groundhogs, some out to 150yrds with it. I mainly just wanted to do a little contribute thread to it since I was so pleased with it. If any of you guys want to chime in on if you liked it or not go for it, but for me I was one happy customer..

The only thing about the 25 I don't care for is the trigger design on the pre-1977 models. If anyone's found a way to lighten it, please pass it along as I haven't run across it yet.

Good rifle, though.

Was my first gun given to me by my grandfather. I love it. Great shooting rifle. I just need to get a scope to put on it.

I got one that has been sitting in my parents basement for about 2 decades. I need to clean it up this summer, given the lousy conditions in storage its in great shape and should clean up nicely.

My first gun was actually going to be the 25mn (mag version). We told the store to hold it for a few days, we go back 5 days later and its sold...so we got my 883. I was really wanting that 25!

tell you one thing about that marlin 22lr I had It sure wasted the squirrels and the pigeons on the silo My dad always used to be scared I'd rip a hole in the roof, but i always knew that thing would hit what I was aiming at... Sure do miss it. I wish I never would have given it to my brother. He let it go with rust and all not to mention the thousands of rounds I shot out of it lol LOL Never the less it still shot really good.

I had to laugh a bit because my brother ended up with mine. I traded him for a cap and ball revolver....I rarely shoot it and he never shoots the Marlin.

It was the first bolt gun and first (and only right now) 22lr I own. It's great and dead nutz accurate, magazines are a little expensive but it's alright, I've got enough for now.

Great little gun and cheap to shoot all day long!
