Default Fun at the range today

Well I finally got a chance to shoot the Yugo SKS I bought back in November and also the Bushy M4gery I bought last month. They were both a riot but the SKS smoked like Cheech Marin, guess I didn't clean the cosmolene very well.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your SKS. I love mine as well. It took a while to get used to the sights. I have not used leaf sights in years.

Have you heard of these? http://www.tech-sights.com/

I installed these on my Yugo SKS in about 15mins and it really improved my consistency with it. I was able to shoot several 3" groups at 100yds with these sights and Wolf ammo. (some groups were larger)

I couldn't shoot better than 8-10" groups with the stock sights. I guess after shooting peep sights in the military I had a hard time going back to similar sights to my first BB gun.

They are supposedly coming up with a peep for the AK as well. I will be getting one of them too. I didn't have to permanantly change anything to install them on the SKS which is a major plus.

Nice sights, but I can't see any use in investing that much in a range gun. Thanks for the tip tough.

No problem on the tip... occassionally I over estimate the value of my $.02, BTW I plan to use rifle/sight combo when the Zombie Horde comes marching thru the state.
