No personal experience with the mags you are speaking of, but all I've read on them says that they have reliability problems. Tapco has a 20 rounder that has had some positive reviews.
Also depends on TYPE of SKS. You have to watch the "parts count" to stay legal. I have a Yugo SKS and since it is C&R elligible, I can keep the bayo on it, but I THINK if I wanted a detachable mag, I have to swap other parts to make it compliant. I like mine as is. Stripper clips work very well to reload. My advice is to get an AK if mag capacity is an issue.

If you want a gun that shoots 7.62x39 and has detachable hi cap mags, leave an SKS alone.
First, the detachables aren't very reliable. Second, unless you have replaced the requisite number of parts to satisfy 922r, you will be in posession of an illegally imported assault rifle if you convert one to a detachable mag. Less trouble to just get an AK in the sub $400 range. I love my SKS, but the legal and functional issues make me keep it a 10 round gun.

Be patient, look around, you may find a M or D model Chinese, they take AK mags. Here's a M model, the D has a thumbhole stock.

But because of the collector value of the M and D They resell for more than a comparable AK. When they were introduced, they were a value priced alternative to the AK, then they were banned from import and the prices have risen to stupid levels. A buddy of mine has one, I think it's an M model, It is no peach to change mags in. Stick with the AK if you want a hi cap blaster...

Got mine for $300 at Cabelas of all places, last summer. I use the 5 rd mag that came with it, and 30rd AK mags with no problem. The mag is kind of recessed because of the stock, but fit is smooth. I like my AKs also, just trying to give another option.
