What do I have and what is it worth (new AK) PIC

I just bought this Arsenal AK from someone I work with. I paid $350.

Why is the fromt sight off center. And the little lever under the rear sight right side, what is it . I cant seem to move it (my educated guess is: it's the switch to go from kill to stun. THANKS

Sounds like sight can't (front sight is off center, and useless). If the sight on the tip of the barrel is off you got screwed there, but at least you can scope it.

That switch on the side, by the back sight is a disassembly switch.

Little lever is for releasing the gas tube, and there should be a fix out there for the canted front sight

Reciever looks milled, depending on how it looks on the inside I'd say you did good

Depending on what the problem is with your front sight you might be SOL.

Looks like it was built during the ban. As it has no bayonet lug, has the thumbhole stock. Interesting that its a milled receiver, that reciever alone is worth a pretty penny and pretty hard to come by.

I'd say you got a good deal. Is that break pinned on or threaded?

This is a great page with lots of info.
In short your front sight is canted. Meaning the barrel has warped ever so slightly (from heat) whitch caused the front sight block to move. Unless you have a press its very very hard to pop those pins out, but a gunsmith can fix it easily. The member "John@JCDLESales" can easily fix it.
The page also shows you how to strip the furniture off your ak, which is what the lever is for.

Front sight cant, a cosmetic anomaly some AKs have that doesn't often cause operational problems except in extreme cases. It isn't hard to fix, here's an article about it.

Gas tube release lever, part of the disassembly sequence. Read this article, you'll see it at #10. No need for crayons, the pictures are color.

Nice acquisition. Judging by the gas block shape, it appears to be a Bulgarian AK. You got a good deal.
