Exclamation WARNING!! LTM Refinishing (Larson Tactical)

Mods, I'm not sure if you want this in rifles since that's what they mainly refinish, or if you'd rather move it to general or something like that since they will refinish other things as well.

I just wanted to post this up so that people were aware of what was going on. I have NOT sent a rifle to this man, nor do I know someone in person who has, but lots of fellas online that have. Everyone said that Joe did great work at larson tactical, this is his webpage http://www.larsontactical.com/ . He had a death in the family and some other issues with his son, and suddenly all his work was delayed. Later people started not receiving rifles that he told them he had shipped. Apparently the situation got so bad that George from GA Precision made a trip to Joe's shop and retrieved all the people's rifles that asked him to on snipers hide. He retrieved everyone that asked him to get their rifle, but one gentleman's. What was bad is that alot of people he had told he was already working on their rifles or almost done, and George said that NONE of the work had been done. I know that alot of you fellas here at pafoa are starting to get into tactical rifles, custom paint jobs, etc and wanted ya'll to be aware of this situation. This was one of the "go to" guys in the business that previously had a great reputation. He still has his website up like he is taking orders and still doing business, but from all that I've seen on snipershide, he's not doing the work, not answering his phone, and not shipping rifles back. Here's a link to the discussion on snipershide http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubb...592659&fpart=1

Warning about snipershide: I did want to give a word of warning about the snipershide forum to everyone. You will NOT be served well to go on that forum and ask alot of "beginner" questions or to try to act like you know what you're talking about. These gentlemen are VERY serious shooters, and they do not like it when kids that want to be snipers, etc go on the forum and ask a bunch of what they consider to be stupid or amateur questions. They never mind you reading and learning, but if you don't know quite a bit already, they usually want you to keep your mouth shut and read. I just wanted to warn some people, so they don't go on there and get their feelings hurt or annoy the entire forum.
