First AR build .......

Well, it's finished. I must say that I am happy with it. Waiting on Troy rear sight but other than that and a sling it's good to be finally finished.

Parts:

Spikes Tactical Lower w/ LPK
LMT Upper - 16" 1/7
VLTOR CASV-EL and Sling Plate
MagPul Stock w/ milspec buffer tube
MagPul Miad grip (very cool by the way)

Other than the roll pin for the bolt catch everything went together smoothly. Probably took an hour total , next one should be about 30 minutes. Complete upper by the way.

Thanks Pro.. was a fun build. The CASV-EL is pretty slick. I am a fan of the O.D. but many folks are not - not that I care

The MIAD is pretty slick as well .. storage compartment is pretty cool. All in all, I'm happy with the way it turned out. Has a unique look and feels nice and tight.

The Spike's lower is really , really nice ... pictures don't do it justice. The finish matched perfectly to the LMT upper as well. Let us know when you get your next one done!
