Default Stevens 416 Comments??!!!!

I have a Stevens 416 which is marked US Property,
It is an X barrel rifle, 3/4" heave barreled 22 lr rifle with a 26" long barrel,
I am curious, ? Has anyone had one of these? I havent shot it yet, I have been in the process of installing a vintage scope for the old girl, And will hopefully be able to get to the 100 yard range next weekend and give her a spin.
Any Comments on this old training rifle?
Peter.

Good rifle. Heavy and accurate.

The vintage scope is very dark so unless it's a bright day you won't see much but you can also get a 1" scope mount for it here.
