Default Rocket's Quest for an AK47!

Well, as some of you know...I have decided not to pursue another AR15 but rather obtain a decent AK47 to round out my collection! I have pretty much settled on Romanian mainly because the prices are within my budget but I still have a couple hard choices to make. Classic or Under Folder and wood or black plastic furniture? So I'm gonna make a simple poll for voting, but please post some pros and cons so I can make an informed decision...

Classic with wood furniture

Classic with black plastic furniture

Under Folder with black plastic fore grip

Under Folder with wood fore grip

Classic wood.

It's an AK, don't pretend it's an AR.......

I'd like a Yugo or Bulgy but only if I can find one for around $400

ak's have wood furniture .

go for the std, cuz shooting the underfolder can get hard on te shoulder with thtat stock.

then, after you have an origional wood ak, get the underfolder with the wood. just for the collection

Classic wood furniture... it looks like an AK should look.

Personally, I prefer the classic/wood style. I'm glad that you decided to get an AK, you can always get another AR later. Recently I bought a second AR but I wish I got an AK instead.

Always start with a wood AK... If you want furniture on it, in the future just buy it as you have money for it...

I had a yugo underfolder, well built rifle. But that sock killed my shoulder, negated a good cheeckweld, and destroyed the hope for follow up shots. Looked cool, thats why I bought it. Wanted to actually hit targets at 100yards +, thats why i sold it.

If (when) I get another AK, it will be a fixed stock.
