Springfield Model 15
Hello,
I have aquired a springfield model 15, .22 cal, single shot, bolt action from my father that I am currently restoring. could anyone tell me when these where made, and possibly a value of one. My father said he has had it for as long as he can remember and doesn't recall where he aquired it, but it use too shoot great. The barrel is marked, J.Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls. Mass, U.S.A. SPINGFIELD MODEL 15 22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle Patent 2173576 2223092 2230372 and right beside the rear sight set screw is a "M" underlinded any information is greatly apprieciated
