Default part swap sar and wasr

are the marority of parts , mostly bolt,bolt carrier,piston,gas tube , trigger group , on the sar1 interchangeable with the wasr , I would "think" they are , but who knows

thanks , that what i was looking for , I had thought of picking up some parts as spares for the sars and thought for the sale dunhms has once in awhile of 279. why not just get a whole other gun , that way no matter what "breaks" I'm covered. Lame excuse for sure but whatever works

true, the only major difference between the SAR and WASR is production date, and the fact that the WASR was originally restricted to a single stack 10rd mgs thru the use of a front trunnion that had tabs in it to only take a certain mag.

Century milled out the tabs, installed US parts, and sent them out the door.

all parts swap out no problem, but rememember headspace if you end up swapping a bolt or barrel.
