    Default Deer Hunting in PA

Got the impression from an ad I saw in the classified on this site that it is illegal to deer hunt in PA without a Scoped rifle. Is this true? Is any no scoped hunting legal, surely they don't require scopes for bird hunting, do they?

You can use any sighting system you want as long as it does not project a beam, ie no laser sights. Where did you get the idea you had to use a scope?

For most its just easier to use a scoped rifle especially due to the antler restrictions counting points is alot easier with a scope,But a set of bino's works just as well if you still want to hunt with irons.

No, that's not true at all. Like Hawkeye said, no lasers, though.

That is still the case although peep sights are now allowed.

I like the irons on my T/C PA Hunter. No fiber optics or the like for me. Hope to test them out after Christmas.

Got the impression from an ad in the classified. I thought "that can't be true, so I thought I'd ask.
    Thanks for clearing it up.
