DPMS A1 223-5.56 WITH COBRAY CM 203 37MM FLARE LAUNCHER –HELP???/

Ok i have a chance to buy a used DPMS A1 223-5.56 WITH COBRAY CM 203 37MM FLARE LAUNCHER for 700. 00 dollars. I’m not really sure of the condition of this gun I only have a pic from a cell phone to go by. A friend of mine has it and needs some money this gun is MISSING the bolt and I am guessing the charging handle also. Is this a fair price for this gun? Also if you have any info on this gun like the age of this gun and would like to share I would greatly appreciate. See attached photo sorry about the quality but this is the only photo I have..

Well, look up what a new DPMS gun goes for, and what the flare launcher goes for, and go from there. You might be able to sell that launcher and get a bolt, but overall, does not sound too horrible of a price for the combo.

If its just a bolt then its a soild deal as long as the gun is in good condition other wise. If its the whole Bolt Carrier Group its another story.

It's not a bad deal.. if it had the bolt, you would basically be getting the 37mm for free. But since it's missing the carrier, you're looking at $100+, so it will pretty much even out to an appropriate price... Unless you sell the launcher and buy the bolt, you might make out a little better. But assuming it's in nice condition, and works... it's not a bad deal in my opinion.

Wondering why its missing a bolt? Rifles usually come with those

IE I'd check it over in person to make sure the bolt isn't missing due to it being broken by something being done to the rifle.

I would probably pass on it myself. $700 + $140 can get you a nice AR.

Rear sight suggests "A2", and the photo shows a charging handle.

I'd tell him to drop the price to $600 just because it has that flare launcher on it.
