Default oldest guns in your collections, any stories?

Thought this might be interesting.. What are the oldest guns in your collections. Pictures, details and any stories associated with them can be posted. I'll post mine tonight..........
My wife has her grandmothers HR single 410 shotgun. It has been taped around the stock. Because the postman got fresh with her one day and she walloped him over the head with it...pictures to be posted later..oh made in 1900

I have a 1917 bolt action Enfiled 30-06 pretty accurate for what it is but not as accurate as any of my new rifles but none of them have the 1917's smooth and solid lockup bolt action.

I asked a older rifleman on the range one day to shoot it I couldn't get a decent !" 3 shot group @ 100yards. He took it and shoot two and I've been trying ever since so it can produce. I just can't do it, it is accurate enough to take a deer.

The oldest with a story is the 1884 Trapdoor. Was my Grandfathers hunting rifle since he bought it at age 12 for a few bucks at some ladies barn sale. My grandfather is 95 and just gave it to me last year.

I have a Marlin 1893 with a (4) digit serial number. First year of production for the model 1893 was, well.... 1893.

I bought it off a coworker about 15 years ago.

One of my oldest is a High Standard that was made in the early 40's. Bought it from a friends family after he passed. It came to me in a leather rag case with the mag still loaded.

My Grandfathers Mauser 1910 pocket pistol.

I hope to get her functional someday... it's in great shape with just a broken spring, but i'd only want a pro smith to touch it (it just means too much to me to trust just anyone.)

    ...someday, someday.

1847 Springfield .69 smoothbore musket. Mine is the short model (either cavalry, artillery or sappers model........I've never been able to get a definite answer on that....)

1943 Finn M39, but the receiver is stamped 1897 on the underside. Here's a link to the thread for pics.
