Default Long Branch Sportsman's Club Washington County

Long Branch Sportsman's Club is located in Washington County in scenic Long Branch, PA. Easy access off I-70, near Charleroi, Belle Vernon and California. We have an indoor pistol range capable of handling any pistol rounds including .44 mag FMJ. Bullet traps are 2' wide x 5' tall. Our outdoor range is has enough space for 100 yard or 100 meter firing positions. A 25 yard outdoor pistol range is in the planning stages. Membership required to use the ranges.

On Tuesday nights from October to May we have a .22 NRA Indoor Gallery pistol shoot. This consists of bullseye targets at 50 ft. 10 shots slow fire (10 minutes), 10 shots timed fire (2 strings of 5 shots in 20 seconds), and 10 shots rapid fire (2 strings of 5 shots in 10 seconds.) Semi-autos with red-dot scopes are the norm, but any .22 rimfire pistol is allowed. This shoot is open to the public. Beginners welcome and we can usually get some loaner equipment together if you want to try it out. (Beginners should have basic knowledge of safe pistol shooting.)

We have several members who are NRA certified instructors in pistol, rifle, shotgun, home firearm safety, and personal protection in the home. Courses available for individuals or groups, including non-members.

For information on the shoots or to submit an application, please contact me. Meetings are on the first Thursday of each month.
