Default Scotia Range this weekend (3/31)?

The current forecast is showing a high of 56 and mostly cloudy skies for Saturday. Anyone think they might head out to Scotia? I was there this past Sunday shooting clays and the SKS, and it was packed! I'm not sure if I'm going to go on Saturday.

If the weather is nice i'll be there probably both days... Typically i like to go in the evenings but crowds are so unpredictable at scotia lol

Hey, it turns out that I will be at Scotia tomorrow (Saturday)! A friend of mine is in town on spring break (she is on the Rifle Team for WVU) and she wants to go to the range. Also, another friend (whom I introduced to shooting a couple weeks ago) has expressed interest in shooting clays, and I told her that I'd be happy to show her the ropes. So like last weekend, I'm planning on heading out there around 1 or 2pm (Saturday), and will definitely be hitting the Shotgun and Rifle ranges.

If anyone else is gonna be out there, come over and say HI!

Haha, if there is (or was) such a rule, then no one follows it. I think they do say that you shouldn't load more than three rounds at a time, but no one does that either.

The range people don't seem to mind as long as you're not goofing off or doing anything dangerous.

The only time i've ever had them enforce the magazine rule is when you're inside the fenced range. The auxiliary range they dont seem to care as much. Although when im spotted ripping off a 10rnd mag out of my 10/22 im usually alone at the time... Heck just today i was out adjusting the sights on my M1, 2 guys with a SKS got "yelled" at for loading more than 3 rounds.

Yea, I've only been "talked to" for shooting things other than the targets (like textbooks, hehe).

You gonna be there tomorrow Ronin?
