Default State College Area?

Besides the range at Scotia is there any ranges in the State College area?

None that I really know of. However, if I recall, there's a club in the Warriors Mark area, and I think they (at least used to) fire full-auto firearms there.

There's also a club with a range in the Snow Shoe area that I've passed by in my car a few times.

There's a range just out beyond Howard called Liberty Township Sportsmen's Club

$16/yr dues
Rifle or pistol
Any distance out to 100 yds
Gongs up on the mountain at 150 and 200 yds
Covered firing points with benches, room for position shooting.
Bring your own targets and frames.
Shoot at what you want, but no glass. Pick up after yourself.
Trap range.
28 ft smallbore league in the winter.

I'll post contact info later when I find it... or you can just show up on a weekend day during the summer and drive through the campground and ask for a club officer who can register you.

Nice little place. None of the hassles and atitude of shooting at the OSC.
