starting a group rather than an official club.
We have a place, now we just need a following. I know a friend who has much land and will let me shoot there with my friends. Now lets get together and pick a day and shoot away. contact me at sptmantis@aol.com if anyone knows the laws and regulations on shooting on your own private property please forward them to me.

Can we bring "alternative" targets?
Such as old-computer equipment and the lilke?? We promise to clean up afterwards!

Now your talking! In Lebanon County?...heck thats right next to Berks...I'll even haul the trash out myself!
Depending on proximity of neighbors and if it has a good backstop area, I know lots of folks with "backyard ranges" and other areas (coal strippings) that people shoot at, just not that close to me. Lets make this happen.

well i'm not sure about the computers but any other non exploding targets like plastic soda bottles and mannequins are acceptable. lol
We need to get a place to meet and a date or dates to shoot. With some advance notice we could make a monthly or weekly meeting out of it. (I suppose this could be concidered the "not-a-club" club.) I'll get with my friend and post an update very soon.

Beware of liability issues. An established gun club would be better. They carry insurance in case of accidents.
