Talking Questions about Langhorne Rod and Gun Club

Hi, I know a lot of people on here are members of Langhorne Rod and Gun Club and speak very highly of it. My dad, brother and I are interested in joining and were wondering what the membership requirements are. I've been shooting at Classic Pistol often and was looking into Conestoga Gun Club in Southampton but my dad is more of a rifle/shotgun guy so LRGC seems like a good match for us. We currently go to Wicen's when we want to shoot the long guns but are trying to start shooting them more often and it looks like a club is the way to go. Right now their website is down and I was just looking for some feedback from everyone. Thanks.

I'm a fairly new (one year) member. LastDefender can certainly tell you more. Its a bit of a drive for me but I like the club and the people. You pick up an application from the membership chairman at a meeting. Application fee (for me was $75 Annual dues $150 plus 8 work hours on one of the committees. Application is taken, a one hour orientation meeting for the club rules, then applications are voted on at a general meeting. I haven't been over there enough (fishing too much) but plan to be over more often. Let me know if I can get you more info.

That website is for lower providence not langhorne. I am not sure if you meant langhorne or not.

last time I checked there was a two year wait to get into Langhorne. You should stop by Conestoga on a Tuesday Night to meet the guys. They shoot at Laghorne too. you can shoot at Open events at langhorne when you want to shoot shotgun or high power rifle and have a home at conestoga to shoot pistols or 22 rifles indoors any time you feel like it,,,,and it's a whole lot cheaper than Classic!
