The only changes since 1995 have been minimal.
The Legislature doesn't cause us much pain, but the AG's office does, and ill-advised legal cases give the appellate courts the opportunity to restrict existing statutes to our disadvantage. The Erie case, Hobson's case, the Keyes case, have all restricted our rights without the Legislature being involved.

I said that while they had a republican governor and both chambers they should have done something for gun rights. This became really true after that liberal kane was elected. Now with wolf its impossible.

I know there was some kind of Bill in the works that would have made it legal to carry on Army Corps of Engineers controlled land. Does anyone know if it ever became legal to carry concealed there? I know you're allowed to have legal hunting arms while hunting game in season. But it was a no go as far as concealed carry the last time I checked. I was wondering if anyone knew anything more?

AFAIK no bill was ever passed. If it where, I'm pretty sure our current pres. Would've vetoed it pretty quickly.

Both bills are languishing in their initially signed committees for the past 13 months with no action taken:
S263
Recreational Lands Self-Defense Act of 2015 HR578

So it's safe to say since I have my LTC I can have my .40 between my seat and center console?

It is safe to say but might not be safe to do, depending on how secure the firearm is when in that location. You want to make sure
it can't become dislodged and become an airborne missile in the event of a collision. Some handguns are mostly steel and quite heavy,
even more so when loaded. Let that bash one of your passengers in the head or fly through a side window - you get the idea.
You probably don't want to make a habit of parking it there and getting out of the car and leaving it behind either.
You don't say you're going to do any of these things in your post, I'm extrapolating the possibilities.
Take care. But yes, with your PA LTCF you may have it in your car in any way, or manner, or place, it is legal.
Re: READ FIRST: Where you CAN and CANNOT Carry weapons in the State of Pennsylvania
Okay thanks for your feed back I was curious I just started carrying it's real secure where I am talking about. I just rather have quicker access to it and I never leave it in the car.
Re: READ FIRST: Where you CAN and CANNOT Carry weapons in the State of Pennsylvania
This is me personally mind you, but I carry 100% of the time and I consider it bad form (because I conceal carry in Philadelphia) to be messing with my gun. It's safe in the holster. Taking guns in and out of them increases the chance of a ND. In my case it also increases the chances of me being seen messing around with my gun, and possibly getting people worried, calling the police, and possibly dealing with a bullshit "brandishing" charge or at the least a big hassle. Possibly even being shot by police. Modify your carry so you can get to the thing, and get yourself a dummy gun and practice achieving a decent grip and draw without covering yourself or others. Just another thought if someone manages to catch you totally off guard and grabs you when you are unholstering or even tears your ass out of your vehicle before you have a chance to react you will be without your gun.
Whatever you do, be careful and smart, and for god's sake if you do what you are planning PRACTICE getting it in and out of there without covering yourself or others.

Hi all. Just a quick question. I frequently have to go to a building that leases to several businesses. One of these is a private elementary school. To access these businesses you must use a common lobby where children are dismissed through. Any trouble carrying there ?
Entrance to school itself is second floor, through a locked door.
