I couldn't quite talk myself into it either...works out to about $32.50/500, and I've got enough from the Obama years yet to not have to worry for a while. But in the grand scheme, that's a relatively good price vs. where most of the other calibers are at. Considering the real inflation that's occurred since I last bought 22s, $32.50/500 feels only a little high and not 100% batshit crazy.
Black Friday 2018 i think it was, Federal black box 22LR worked out to $12.50/500 after rebate. That's the lowest I recall in the past decade. Prior to Obama, $10 FULL bricks of American Eagle all day long at the LGS....perfect for a teenager with time to hit the range.
Does Walmart sell 9mm? What are prices on that looking like, more or less, these days? Better or worse than your LGS?
Think they stopped selling pistol and "assaulty" rifle calibers like 223 after one of the shootings a couple years back.
Remember when Walmart was the new Dick's because the CEO lobbied to ban your semi auto guns and everyone was all "Fuck Walmart" and shit?
I haven't bought anything gun related there since they did that.
I haven't bought anything from Walmart since 2009, for screwing America and helping Chyna. I've realized though, since I buy enough from Jeff Bozos, I'm basically doing the same thing. So I was going to give up and buy some 9mm from them, cause at least that wouldn't be made in Chyna, but I guess I'll just keep boycotting them.
Lebanon in similar boat to Selinsgrove. Lots of Fed 325 for $21.16, some 308 all around $25/20, Fed 12G shells $33/100 which didnt seem terrible, Estate 12G $36/100, maybe a couple boxes of Winchester 12G about $8.50/25. Little bit of 350 Legend, and that was about it.
