Re: Lost Wallet, Lost Card, What Now
WOW, soberbyker and Mrs. soberbyker...that Delco part really sucks. Re-apply and $51?? That doesn't sound fair :(
Maybe a kind soul will return the bag and contents? :)
Would be nice if the UFA actually had a section on lost and replacement licenses.

"16. In the event your Permit to Carry becomes stolen, lost, or misplaced, you must call police and file a report immediately. Upon obtaining an Incident Report Number from the District of Occurrence, you must then file a Lost/Stolen report with the Gun Permit Unit.
You are PROHIBITED from carrying a firearm until this Unit has made a subsequent investigation and a new permit card / number can be issued to you. The fee for the new Permit is $50.00".
Imagine if this same rule were applied to driver's licences!
You are PROHIBITED from driving a car until this Unit has made a subsequent investigation and a new driver's license can be issued to you.

^ This. Centre County made me a laminated copy to keep in my wallet and I keep the original tucked away safely at home. I haven't ever lost my wallet but I've often been prosecuted under Murphy's Law.
