Re: Arrogant Anti-Gun Legislators Derailing PA Legislative Process (FOAG)
I see the bill has been removed from the table.
I reviewed the pdf amendments.
This has Bloomberg written all over it.
It looks like Bloomberg staffers cut and pasted every anti-gun law from CA, NJ, NY, etc into the bill, then funneled it through the anti-gun reps.
I can do a summary of the anti-gun amendments, but it's probably better just to call reps and ask for a clean bill with no amendments.
I bet most of these amendments were not even looked at by the reps that sponsored them.
They are just loaded on to prevent the bill passage.

Where did the pdf come from?
The list of amendments was compiled by FOAC who got them directly from Harrisburg

Emails sent---all the stuff going on in this world and they have to keep "pulling this BS". Yeah---no one wants to take your guns. At some point we need to sue these turds for not upholding their oath of upholding the PA Constitution..

Dear Senator
As your constituent, I respectfully urge you to support Senator Eichelberger's amendment to Senate Bill 1330 and the final passage of the bill.
Gun owners continue to be unduly burdened by local ordinances which violate the current state firearm preemption law. Citizens with no criminal intent should not be placed in jeopardy of running afoul of local restrictions they don't even know exist simply because they have crossed from one municipality to another. SB 1330, if again enacted into law, would strengthen Pennsylvania's firearms preemption law to further ensure firearm and ammunition laws are consistent throughout the state.
Once again, I urge you to please support Senator Eichelberger's amendment to SB 1330 and the final passage of the bill. Thank you.
Re: Arrogant Anti-Gun Legislators Derailing PA Legislative Process (FOAG)
Greetings,
I'd started to list all the issues and sponsors on page 1 of this thread, though I only made it up to page 87 of 421. It looks to me like each of the amendments is one of the previously submitted (and failed) anti bills from the entire 2 year session. SO, they dumped every darn one into either killing the House preemption bill OR attempting to get us to compromise and pass it with some of their more "important" poison pills.
I've requested my Reps to either get it voted "clean" or drop it. No replies back from any yet, but I'll be calling later on today to try and get a better idea of where their heads are (our side). Please also remember to contact your State Senator re SB-1330, with the Eichelberger amendment ONLY. Thanks!
Regards, Jim

Thanks to the NRA-ILA for making it so simple to contact your legislators. You can also add your own text to the email as well.
