Re: Arrogant Anti-Gun Legislators Derailing PA Legislative Process (FOAG)
In the legislative history it says HB 2258 has been removed from the table. Does that mean it's dead for now?
I will contact my legislator and senator.

Can someone explain exactly what we should ask the house leadership to do? Can they run it without amendments? Can they just hold an immediate vote on each amendment? Is there some other procedure to get these bills cleanly to the floor?

Yes, tell them to run the bill without ANY amendments

Thanks, emails sent and phone calls made.
Thank you to the guys on the front line in Harrisburg and to those who support them.
Re: Arrogant Anti-Gun Legislators Derailing PA Legislative Process (FOAG)
Greetings,
Had an early call out today and just got in. So, sorry but no info from any of our Reps. As previously suggested, I believe the best advice when contacting your House Reps are to request they vote on it "clean" with NO amendments.
Also (and perhaps now very important), there is a very similar Senate bill; S-1330. I received a note to look into the amendment to it from Sen John Eichelberger. It is supposed to be good for us, but I've not read it yet. Here is a link to the text of S-1330, not sure if it includes anything additional yet.

I'd suspect the antis will start to try and load it up just as they did with the House bill, but we may have more support in the Senate to try for a "clean" vote.
Keep up the good work everyone! I'll definitely get time for the phone tomorrow and post any info I can get on any of our bills. Sucks when work gets in the way of activism.
Regards, Jim

Yes, SB 1330 is actually better than HB 2258

If you can spend 15 minutes updating your fantasy football league (or whatever), but you can't take the same amount of time to contact your reps, you should reconsider your priorities.
Freedom isn't free.

I don't see the amendments listed on the legislature website.
Where did the pdf come from?
