Magazine Issue
Glock 19 9mm factory magazines.
I was shooting today and I only load 5 rounds in a magazine at a time. I fired 5 and the slide stayed forward. The magazine and chamber were indeed empty. When I removed the magazine I noticed that the metal liner in the magazine was bent. Anyone have any idea why/how this happened?
Two separate magazines, one worked fine, one would feed fine but the slide would not stay back after the last round. You can see the one "ear" bent in somehow. There has been no more than 200rds through the bent magazine.

Re: Magazine Issue
I am assuming the problem magazine is the one on the right?

I blew your picture up, If you compare the two pictures there is a dent pushing the feed lip in and some kind of shaving sticking out, also looks like something rubbed near the shaving. Was it dropped? Or did the slide hit the mag and do this?
Take the magazine apart and you may be able to repair it with some light file work. I would put the (empty) magazine in and cycle it very slowly by hand and see if you can "feel" it hitting the magazine.
