Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
On March 1st, NRA dues will increase at all membership levels for the first time in more than 20 years.
Without this dues increase, we simply can't compete in a presidential election that will be the most expensive in American history.
But before this increase goes into effect, I want my loyal friends like you to have one more opportunity to extend your membership - or even join our Life Membership ranks - at a special discount rate that will never be offered again. PLUS you'll get a SPECIAL GIFT depending on the membership you choose.
Extend your membership for one year, and receive a $10 discount off the new dues rate that goes into effect March 1st - and I'll send you NRA's rosewood handle pocket knife as a special gift. Or, extend your membership for two, three, or even five years. You'll receive a discount up to $40 plus a great NRA gift for the membership you select.
Or, make the ultimate commitment to take back the White House this year by becoming a Life Member of the NRA. You'll save a full $1,000 off the new $1,500 rate that goes into effect on ?March 1st. And, I'll make sure you receive NRA's exclusive new Ridgeline Pathfinder backpack - a $135 value - to commemorate your decision.
In fact, you can lock in this $1,000 savings by sending just $25 to join our "Easy Pay Life" program. We'll bill you for the balance of your Life Member dues in easy $25 installments. You can choose our monthly or quarterly installment plan, and we'll send you NRA's new Black & Tan shooter's cap as a special gift!
Whatever your decision, please do it now. NRA dues will increase at midnight February 29th and this deadline will NOT be extended again.
Most importantly, your decision today will help us win the 2016 elections - a do-or-die battle and the most important election in American history. And NRA can't win without your help.
Victory starts with you - and your decision to upgrade or extend your membership today. Please log in now to see the discounts and gifts that are waiting for you - and thanks for standing tall with me in the most important election in freedom's history!

I'm no AR or metallurgy expert, but to me that just screams like it is going to break. Anyone want to chime in about those?

No. I didn't. Thought about it for a few hours.... But not knowing my CMP order status, didn't want to put myself too far behind. If I had gotten a dear John letter from CMP, I would've grabbed one.
Patience is a virtue.....

Why 5.56? I already have plenty of ammo, it takes AR mags, and softer recoil.
I'll probably buy from an area shop. I would rather spend my money closer to home and I always pay less than the cheapest online price.

Don't know how strong they are but when you start using lightweight carriers, buffers etc the gun can become very ammo sensitive.
3 gunners use lightweight components for reduced recoil and tailor a load for the setup. I wouldn't want one of those in an AR that I'll shoot all sorts of different ammo through.
