Like the title says, what is a reasonable price to expect to get for my Smith & Wesson SW9VE?
I've got about 1,000 rounds through it, and it is in good condition.
I'm looking to trade it on a Ruger SR9 if that matters.

$200, at most.
$200 is what I got for mine almost 1.5 years ago. I bought it for $250 almost 4 years before that. I felt I got my $50 out of it. I also put way more than 1k down the barrel in that time.
Thanks for the quick responses guys, I appreciate it.
I was thinking somewhere around $150, so if I can get around $200 out of it, I'll be happier than a pig in shit.
i was offered $200 at the gun shop, ended up doing a transfer and selling to a guy for $300
Wow! I just bought a Sigma for $350 (after rebate) and I over paid. Most I saw were in the $325-350 range before rebate, but everyone sold out at that price.Quote:

I couldn't find a shop in 50 miles that had them in stock!
I was thinking I overpaid by about $75 for mine.
You got a good price at $300 used!!
I got my SW40VE for $299 shipped from BudsGunShop.com back in December '09. Then I had the $50 mail-in rebate. After paying for the gun, FFL fee & rebate, it only cost me $267 for the SW40VE. Best deal in my opinion. Bud's has some really good prices.
Back to the OP, most places are offering between $125 - $175 for the Smith & Wesson Sigma series pistols if it's a trade-in. A private sale might be a better way to sell it. You should be able to get at least $250 - $300 in a private sale. Especially if you throw in a holster and a cheap 50 round box of ammo.
I traded my sigmn 40ve, for my XD40, they gave me 200 for it ,and i think thats a lot considering its 340 brand new at cabelas
