Polymer 80 issues
Anyone build one of the polymer 80 glock lowers?
Im assembling mine and I'm having an issue somewhere. The trigger won't release the sear. It will work without the slide on but once I put the slide in, it binds. The trigger will depress and move the slide, but won't release the sear. I have to remove the end plate and remove the sear to get the slide back off.
Im thinking something is wrong with the trigger assembly (rather than the actual lower), but I've never owned a Glock so I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting.
Thanks for any help guys!

What lower parts did you use? Did you buy a kit? Was it a Lone Wolf kit?
The Polymer 80% lowers must use a Gen 3 kit as Glock still holds the patent on the Gen 4. I'm thinking you have Gen 4 parts and it's not working with your Polymer 80% lower.
I haven't had an issue and I used the lower parts kits from MidwayUSA and I also used their slide completion kit as well.
Lone Wolf sends mixed gen 3/4 parts with their kits, which is why I asked you if you used a Lone Wolf Kit.

Re: Polymer 80 issues
Your trigger bar is being held up by your rear rail. Take out the rear rail and file or grind off a few thousandths of that one surface and round that corner a bit, and the trigger bar will then be allowed to travel that extra little bit needed to release the striker.
I am 99.9% sure this is your problem. It's not your trigger parts, it's the rear rail being slightly out of spec.
