Jefferson ask in their paper work if you have a firearm and if you do they ask you to lock it up at security. Jefferson does not run serial numbers or call Philly PD to it either

I will take wife for an appointment this week to TJ Hospital.
Any info on wanding/metal detectors in use / NFW will I go to Philly unarmed............................

The general hospital areas were fine, last time I was there 9 months ago. But, the ER had a metal detector and bag searches to enter (as of 2 Christmases ago)..

At the Jeff Neurological Center on Walnut.
Only a security guard at the desk.....no wands or metal detectors in use.
Sign on the door "Weapons not permitted"----,right.....

I just got back from jefferson in bluebell and carried the whole time, no metal detectors that i saw. Big no guns sign though.
