Description: PO Stevens took a Reckless Endangerment report for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 50 W King St. On above date and time Shotspotter reported eight shots fired at 350 S Susquehanna Ave and Person of Knowledge, Richard Lervern Johnson of the 300 block of S Queen St reported hearing six gun shots to the rear of his residence. No victim of the shots fired was located.

Description: PPO Eastman took a Aggravated Assault report from two juveniles. V1 of the first block of N Queen St and V2 of the 100 block of E Jackson St. Both juvenile victim's had been struck by gunfire in the 500 block of S Duke St and transported to York Hospital for treatment. Officers observed a vehicle fleeing area and gave pursuit, vehicle was stopped shortly there after and suspects were taken into custody. Jeffery Caballero of 145 Westerard Dr Santa Maria, Ca; Alejandro Santiago of NFA; Elia Gonzales of 633 S Duke St and David Munoz of 946 W Princess St 2nd Floor all four subjects were charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and Criminal Conspiracy and were arraigned and committed to York County Prison.

Description: PO Davis took a Shots Fired/Reckless Endangerment report for the City of York 50 W. King Street. Stacey Robinson a clerk at the A-Plus Store reported a crowd had gathered in the parking lot this morning after the bars let out. She remembers hearing a pop and thought it was a firecracker but when she went to sweep the parking lot she found a brass shell casing on the sidewalk at the southeast corner of the building. A brass .32 auto CDC casing was located and placed into evidence. Incident occurred 260 N. Sherman Street.

Description: PO Davis took a Recklessly Endangering Another Person report for City of York 50 W. King Street. A large fight ensued after a disagreement at a party at 0117 hrs. in the 600 Block Wallace Street. During the fight, person(s) unknown were injured by a bottle being broken over one of the male's head causing him to bleed. Unknown person fired four rounds into the air to break up the fight. After the shots were fired, the crown dispersed. Four recovered shell casings were placed into evidence.

Victim stated the suspect missed him with the first two shots but he was unsure how many shots were fired. The suspect then fled west on Heiges toward Belvidere.

Description: PO Reisenweber took an Aggravate Assault report for a juvenile at 150 Parkway Blvd. who stated while on Lincoln St. @ Thomas St. unknown suspects fired shots at him grazing his upper right thigh. Investigation Continue.

~NOTE ~*This was a drive by that occured near my house (& I live in a nice part of the city). It was close enough that I actually heard these {5} shots & heard the car race off. I was also listening to the scanner at the time. He was initially reported as shot in the buttocks LOL I guess they polished it up for the report. Most witnesses wouldn't talk to the police, one said he would anonymously since they'd burn his house down if they knew he talked to Police.
About an hour later the woman who's stolen car was used in this called in to say she'd spotted her car & was chasing it... I was yelling at the scanner, "NO LADY DON'T CHASE THEM! THEY'LL SHOOT AT YA!"... My dad yells at Paterno on TV during every game, so I figured why not. LOL... Then the car passed a cop & by the time he got turned around, it had disappeared into the night. A day or two later it was given a very small mention in the newspaper, and othey only mentioned the shooting, not any of the stolen car info. That lady probably still doesn't know she was chasing the drive by shooting suspects.*

Description: PPO Ames took a Armed Robbery report from Alice Perry Collier 400 Block Linden Avenue. Two unknown teenage boys (1 white and 1 black) came up behind victim in the Grace Brethren Church parking lot and took her purse containing wallet, cash and ID. A witness chased suspect North on Newberry Street and witnessed S1 pull a gun out. Victim was able to recover the purse and all its contents when S1 dropped it. Investigation continues.

There are some REALLY wierd ones that don't have anything to do with a gun... if you do a search for assault you get...
peolple getting stabbed or beaten with a baseball bat for things like fighting over a chair... arguing over who gets to use the computer... because someone wouldn't let them bum a cigarette or use a cell phone, etc.
Just stupid stuff that results in people getting arrested, going to the hospital, & I wouldn't be surprised if I saw that someone was killed over something stupid like that.

I stay out of the city as much as possible. I stayed the night at York College one evening and had just about everything that wasn't tied down on my jeep stolen off of it. Nothing but gun shots and cop sirens that come out of that place. I'll take my rural york county any day.
