I've used these for years on construction jobs.
The magnification part is too low for shooting. The magnification should be on the upper portion of the lens. A trifocal would likely be better or a jeweler's eye ( I think that's what its called) in the upper inside of the dominant eye.)
I've not found a solution as yet.
I bought myself some SSP shooting glasss. You can pick where you want the magnification......down low, or up top.....which is what I have. You can also get different magnifications.
Nice day here (for a change)
Got my new Remi 783 (308) out. Got 20 rounds downrange. Some 180 gn soft points and some Gold medal match. No nice groups to speak of, can't blame the rifle at this point. I'm pretty rusty and the groups were getting better.
Tried some new Lehigh Defense CQB .300BLK loads in my AR pistol which worked fine.
and for dessert I dusted off a bedside gun Glock 22 with a Lone wolf ported barrel.
*And now it's fricken raining as I post this :(

A brisk morning but got out early. Had to shoot a few of the recent additions - all shot well no issues. Fun to shoot the little 22 mag derringer - big flame for such a little gun :)

Got some giggle switch time in today. Also got to shoot the p320 x5, which I actually really liked.
A few pistols I shot on New Year's day; .22lr and 9mm day with my old Walther p22 and .22lr dedicated upper using BDM magazines (old style and new), and my G17 and dedicated 9mm upper using the new MEAN EndoMags. I really have to say, the EndoMags impressed me, because I threw together the upper with mostly used and extra parts, a KVP bolt and barrel, standard carbine buffer, and the EndoMag performed flawlessly. Granted it was only 90 rounds, but it was three vastly different types of ammo- 147gr subs, 125gr XTP's, and 115gr FMJ's. It liked them all with no hiccups, AND it locked the bolt back when empty.

I took one of my wife's friends shooting today at Elite
Firearms in Bridgeville.
She fired my Glock 17 and 19, a S&W Shield, a Kahr P9 Covert and a Kahr CW9.
By far, she did best with the G17.
We ran about 100 rounds of their range ammo.
Prior to going back into the shooting lanes, we reviewed safery, stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger press/ reset, loading and unloading the firearm.
She shot at 5, 7 and 10 yards and did very well.
Her smile, coming off the string, was worth it.
Another shooter in the fold.
I had her run about 10 different guns in the fall, talked her into a women's only one day gun familiarization class at Elite and had her shoot today.
She is going to buy a home defense pistol and is interested in carrying.
I'm hoping she can talk my wife into shooting.
I was going to do some work on the house today, but around 11 the sky turned blue, the sun came out, and the temperature jumped 10 degrees. So I had a "economically disadvantaged" range day
