I found a used P220 for $499. I figure it's an ok price, it does look used though. Anything particular to look for on Sigs? I'm not too familiar with the platform. Thanks guys.

Bookmark that. In fact, SF's archiving is almost non-existent, so I would copy and paste the text into a doc and save it.
Good stuff. Should give you most of what you need to know.
BTW this Flork dude worked for Gray Guns for some time, and currently works for Apex.

Tough to go wrong either way, but -some- people have -apparently- had issues with -some- of the 220's w/ newer one-piece stainless slides but internal extractors (the current 220's have stainless slides and external extractors) - Although I think it might have specifically been the compact or carry model...
Rarely do you hear about a plain-jane P220 with problems, though...
My 9mm P2220 Euro is a fun gun to shoot.

It definitely appears to be older, I haven't gotten anything but a quick glance at it yet. It certianly looks like a carbon steel slide, not blackend stainless. I'll be sure to read up and check it out. Thanks for the heads up.Quote:
