I looked through the magazine bill, but there was no provision for registering magazines and paying $50. It's pretty explicit that you have to get rid of the eeeeevil mags within 6 months.
I wonder if the article meant you have to pay $50 and register any gun that can accept a "high" capacity magazine?
UPDATE: The bill was amended. The register and pay $50 option is only for guns with fixed magazines of 11-15 rounds that can't be modified to 10 rounds or less. It is not an option for detachable magazines.
Re: Good Gawd---NJ, unbelievable! This crap better not come here!
Oh okay...It's still all a bunch of bullshit.
Re: Good Gawd---NJ, unbelievable! This crap better not come here!
But Murphy is also ready and waiting to legalize recreational weed. This is what the voters of that cesspool really care about.
Re: Good Gawd---NJ, unbelievable! This crap better not come here!
Legalize weed to keep them stupid, take the guns and keep the citizens in an infantile state. Everything is going as planned.
Re: Good Gawd---NJ, unbelievable! This crap better not come here!
Yea you can register your tube mag 22 since it can't be modified to meet the lower mag cap. NJ is at least learning in their dumb ass law making.
I got nothing, just sad really.

Any of you NJ 2nd Amendment guys need some of your wares stored for some time, in a non communist state, are more than welcome to contact me...plenty of room here.
Re: Good Gawd---NJ, unbelievable! This crap better not come here!
The problem is that they want to bring that bullshit here

So everyone has to register their Civil War Henry Model 1860 lever actions or replicas thereof, a rifle that helped free the slaves.
These kinds of bills were why I moved from NJ to PA. It was bad enough while Christie was in office and I could easily foresee that the Second Amendment (along with the 1st, 4th and 5th) was a goner as soon as he was out of office. That time has arrived.
Encourage any pro-2A New Jersey to move out here to PA. Let Governor Murphy and his anti-Constitution mob there wallow in their socialist Hellhole* State.
There are plenty of pro-2A NJ Citizens. About 2,000 showed up for this rally. http://newjersey.news12.com/story/37...un-bills-in-nj

* Pending clarification from Pope Francis as to whether there is a Hell, I may have to revise this word to a more Trumpian version.:)
