Democrat Tony Willams and Preemption

This wasnt covered in the other thread ...the one dealing with DUI.

I saw a TV commercial the other day in which Mr Williams after toting his alleged responsibility for getting guns off the street and the obligatory posing with LEO's that he promised to support: Paraphrasing- "individual communities to regulate firearms on their streets".
When it reaired the following day and I had it recorded on the dvr this blurb was interestingly REMOVED from that version yet the rest of the ad seemed the same. I wonder if the first version was altered once his campaign realized there actually IS a preemption law contrary to his stance or that he'd lose primary votes, or coincidence?
Hmmm.....
