Doubt it.
All the sensationalism and chest beating over this isn't about a young man being shot. It isn't about who shot him. It's about the kid being black. The situation itself doesn't warrant a second look if color is removed. But oh hell no.
All I hear is how terrible racism is. Every day it's thrown in our faces how horrible we are for seeing color, be it white, yellow, brown, black or red. The minute the line in the sand begins to blur and fade, we're reminded (quite pointedly) that the line exists. It's not me doing it. Is it you? I'm perfectly content to let it drop and forget the line.
But we can't, due largely to these genetic defectives who thrive on that line being sharp and clearly drawn. These people NEED the illusion of racism to make a living. Both those riding the race card to a welfare check, and those encouraging them to remain that way so they can stay in business. That guy wearing a $3000 dollar tailored suit and preaching about how terrible racism is hasn't worked a day in his life. He makes his living off racism, and be damned if he's going to let it die. He'd be out of a paycheck.
Racism is here to stay. There's just too much money in it to let it die. I just don't think it works the way it's portrayed.
Zimmerman's going to pay the piper for this dance. Right, wrong, or indifferent, he's screwed by racism.
