Apparently the shop had an officer involved shooting early this morning. Way before regular hours...
I'm sorry to hear this. I've always had generally good experiences there and I think the gunsmithing work is solid overall.

I stopped in once. Nice store and the guys all seemed cool.
I drove past tonight on the way home from work. Bicycle shop?
Did they close or move ?
again it has been a lifetime since i was there.. are their prices still off the charts??
I was in last summer and the prices were reasonable.
The shop located in Palmyra is closing.

“Due to the changing climate of the gun industry and the desire to slow down, we have decided to close the retail location of Horseshoe Pike Gun Shop by early December.”
I saw a store closing sign when I drove past yesterday. Sorry to see it. The shop has had a hard few years - Police Shooting, murder in the apartment above the shop, changing locations and then a break in and theft - that I'm sure left a bad taste in the owners mouth.
I know people on here have their gripes about the shop but my experiences with Jim as a gunsmith and with sales have always been fairly positive.
