Report: Anti-gun Rally in Media PA, 1 16 2018

Greets all,

I noticed that a facebook group was promoting an anti-gun rally on the steps of the Media county courthouse for tonight at 6pm.

I rolled by about 20 minutes after it started to see how big a crown they'd been able to pickup. I estimate it was about a 250 or so people, mostly onlookers, perhaps 25 or so hardcore cadre carrying signs. The assembly was peaceable and well organized.

Bryan Miller, long time foe, was one of the speakers.

I didn't stick around too long. All in all, a smallish crowd like that isn't too surprising to be able to pickup on a Friday night after work in a progressivist town like Media.
