Sneaky bastards.
Too many people around to shock him with a .40 S&W.
I don't think that's legal anyway.
I thought the fish was trying to get loose, not that a turtle was eating him.

I had that happen to me twice, once it was Northern Pike coming after my 25" Walleye and the other it was a snapper on my little crappie. Like you I thought it was just my fish getting antsy but I checked on them both times and saved them for myself. Snappers in PA aren't in season until July 1 and I don't know if you have to use a hook on them or if you can just nab them. Fish and game can get funny about these things.

Love all the stuffed animals on the stand, childhood victims? Nice mounts Steve, keep up the good work.

Leaving for one last chance to fill my bonus spring gobbler tag and guide for my buddy who's never harvested a turkey. I put a gobbler 12 yds. In front of him 2 weeks ago but the terrain cost him a shot. Wish us luck.

We were up in Sullivan County for the weekend and never heard a gobble on Fr. or Sat. Season over for me, we'll see how the turkey population looks in Nov.

They're about $.85/lb at Redner's that time of year, I recommend Shadybrook or Jennie-O as a close second.
