FBI Report on Active Shooters
The FBI has released it's report on active shooter incidents in 2016 and 2017.

The last two paragraphs sum it up well:
Armed and unarmed citizens engaged the shooter in 10 incidents. They safely and successfully ended the shootings in eight of those incidents. Their selfless actions likely saved many lives.
The enhanced threat posed by active shooters and the swiftness with which active shooter incidents unfold support the importance of preparation by law enforcement officers and citizens alike.
Re: FBI Report on Active Shooters
Well, the FBI should know.
Re: FBI Report on Active Shooters
Wotta load of tripe.
At first blush, cherry picked data and unique definitions to put statistics into.
And they're calling the Vegas incident a single shooter incident.
I do note with interest that Law enforcement will send in a robot with a bomb to kill a "shooter" if they choose.
Yinz should feel safer because no way are they gonna develop this technology for LEOs.
