Colorado gun owners thumb noses at mag ban
You can't buy a Magpul 30-round mag in Colorado, but they'll take the mag apart and sell you a "parts kit".

Re: Colorado gun owners thumb noses at mag ban
Once the Colorado legislators watch this on the news that will be the end of that.
Re: Colorado gun owners thumb noses at mag ban
Parts kits have been sold for quite a few years now.
If someone wants to ban parts kits, I'm thinking that horse has left the barn.
Re: Colorado gun owners thumb noses at mag ban
Screw that hag's statute and her whining. INTENT doesn't always matter. Ask the people in jail who unintentionally broke unconstitutional gun laws...
Shit like this warms my heart. Just like the bullet button and all that California innovation to deal with crap gun laws. It's what they get for trying to regulate plastic tubes and springs.

Not necessarily. There may not currently be the appetite to 'address' this or implement stricter language.

Whenever anyone brings up mere possession being criminal and intent doesn't matter, show them this.

Correct I used to buy magazine "parts kits" when I lived in NJ all the time from Copes disturbing and a few other sellers. Some I used the bodies to pin and weld to 15 rounds and others I kept stashed in a floor for a rainy day apocalypse.
Thank God I no longer need to pin, weld, or hide my loot.

Kind of like MD has it you can't buy it there but you can legally drive it over the boarder and keep it.
Re: Colorado gun owners thumb noses at mag ban
Idiots banning magazines is like trying to ban rocks, you can find them everywhere.
Things don't just magically disappear into thin air because it's banned or made illegal.
